A 4-day retreat in Joshua Tree to learn to connect with earth and sky spirits. What to expect

This is an intimate personalized group retreat, with no more than 10 participants and a handful of staff.

Thursday – February 26, 2026

You’ll want to land in Palm Springs (PSP) before 3pm, and rent/share a car, driving through gorgeous country 1 hour to the private retreat property.

Arriving between 3pm and 5pm, you’ll settle into your room (double occupancy) and unwind taking in the beauty of the place.

Dinner Thursday night will nourish you as the stars appear in the wide desert sky.

Opening circle will introduce you to the guardians of the directions and the Land Spirits to set you up for a night of good dreaming.

A sound bath with Jeremiah will accelerate your relaxation and your attunement to the magic of this place.

Friday – February 27, 2026

You’ll wake up to the birdsound and crystalline light of the desert, enjoying Breakfast at 9am

The first lesson of embodied genius will be a collective nervous-system reset circle that will leave you feeling soft, cozy, and loved.

A guided ritual of connection will teach you how to connect deeply with LandSpirit guardians anywhere you go or travel.

You’ll have some time on the land before lunch.

Lunch will be served at 1pm

A break after lunch gives you time for a swim in the heated pool or a walk on the land

Our afternoon session will guide you through an enlivening breath practice, called Quantum Light Breath, because it grounds and awakens every cell of your body while it opens your mind sky-high for deep communion with a Oneness Frequency that lets you communicate directly with “Home.”

You’ll have time afterwards to rest and enjoy the land or jacuzzi and to watch the spectacular desert sunset.

Dinner is at 6pm

A fire circle in the evening provides the perfect opportunity to practice connecting with Star Nations. There’s time for some simple instruction, and lots of practice and camaraderie.

Saturday – February 28, 2026

After Breakfast at 9am, there’s a circle to share your dreams and visions and ahas shared so far.

Then there is a break to rest and enjoy the land before we begin our circle.

At 11:30am, we gather to clear, ground, breathe and meditate for a while, relishing the new frequencies of connection that have been established.

At Noon, we open a one-hour teaching circle on Land Clearing Practices that will also be broadcast online to the Activation Circle participants.

1pm Lunch

Exercise on the land after lunch and before re-gathering.

Gathering in circle again at 2:30pm for another live-broadcast circle, we will tell stories and answer questions about how and when to “clear” land, how to relate directly with the spirits of your own land, and why it’s so important now to be in close touch with Land Spirits.

Around 4pm, you’ll be released for a pre-dinner break, with enough time to drive into the cute town of Joshua Tree for some quirky artsy shopping before dinner if you’d like, or to visit the funky Tiny Crochet Museum and the Beauty Shop Museum in town.

We gather again for dinner around 6-7pm.

Stargazing from the hot tub is the perfect way to end this fun day.

Sunday, March 1, 2026

Over Sunday Brunch at 9am, we gather in circle to share our stories and ahas from this weekend.

After breakfast and friendly sharing, we open our final circle to set intentions moving forward, and receive powerful channeled individual readings from Ma through Mellissa.

There’s time afterward to integrate and linger,

Or to pack up and go.

Lunch is available from leftovers to salad to take with you or enjoy around the pool before you go.

Departures from the retreat property on Sunday anytime between noon and 4pm.

The Logisitics

The Investment:

Past similar retreats on Mellissa’s land have sold out at $6,000. And a single reading like the one included here are popular at $2,000 per session.

But… the times call for a retreat designed for facilitators of transformative work that is even more accessible, and designed just for transformative leaders.

So… The fee for the 4-day retreat is only $3500, which includes all teaching, healing, readings, and your accommodations and all meals at a beautiful desert retreat center with a heated pool and jacuzzi under the stars. Welcome to this life-changing practice-enhancing path-upgrade delicious experience.

The meals:

Our meals are all organic, wholesome, protein-forward, high-quality food. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available, and we can make sure your food meets your particular needs and requirements without sacrificing taste and enjoyment. And yes, wholesome homemade sweets and treats are also included! You’ll be well nourished on all levels.

The Accommodations:

The double rooms at this retreat center are very cute. A few are retro-trailers, and all have access to shared bathrooms that are spacious and sweet. The meeting room is a dome, tuned for sound resonance and to honor the power of the Joshua Tree vortex area. It’s just our group in this small retreat center, located about 15 minutes from the adorable artsy town of Joshua Tree

Who It’s Designed For:

This retreat is designed for practitioners, leaders, mentors and those growing in facilitation. It is part of a 4-retreat series for Land Spirit Practitioner Certification. But it also stands alone as an enriching skills-enhancing upgrade experience for leaders who bridge spirit and earth in their work and/or practice.

Note: Those who are currently dealing with a crisis-level trauma healing or a deep grieving period should check in with Mellissa to see if this is a good fit first, because the energies of the breath and cosmic practices, and the vortex, can amplify feelings. We will support everyone to leverage the intensity of the place to accelerate your goals, but if you are in a massive take-apart that makes it hard to manage your actions and emotions, this might be too much for your current process.
