Come on. Do you really think menopause is the end of the road? It’s actually just the beginning of your true path.

The last road before midlife was full of a lot of sub paths, where you were walking everyone down their paths, where you were carrying your kids down their paths, where you were paving the way for your husband’s path, where you were carving a new path through the jungle. And now that you’re grown up, you can relax and claim your unique path of wisdom.

Here’s the thing. Our hormones, our structures, our minds all prepared us to live for other people up until this point. And this loss of estrogen has a benefit. It’s the loss of the chains. It’s the loss of the collars. It’s the loss of the yoke that should be worn by an ox. And it’s the beginning of the path of the cream.

It’s the beginning of your path as a wise one. It’s the beginning of the path. You walk alone, no matter how many beloveds and loved ones and grandchildren and friends and grown kids and fantastic opportunity parties and colleagues. You have. Because now it’s time to really discover who you are without all the caretaking, without all the extra, without all the living by obligation.
