A Spiritual Fear of Money

One thing I love about spiritually minded people is they don’t tend to value money above all other things. They don’t seem to be pulled in by a greed focused lifestyle. I suppose that’s because once you’ve had a taste of spiritual union, true healing, and authentic relating, money is kind of boring.  A means to an end.

But what I find frustrating is how terrifying (or repugnant) it is for spiritual people to make money… especially a lot of money.  There’s some old romantic idea, a lie, in my opinion, about being spiritual and being poor.  What is that?

When I do clearings on folks, getting rid of the blocks they have to being successful in sharing their spirit gifts with the world, I run into a LOT of old, outdated vows of poverty inside of them that need clearing.   I suppose a lot of us spiritual people have had past lives as priests, nuns, and ascetics who carry literal vows of poverty.  But even in the present day, I notice that some of the most potent wisdom keepers I know struggle with money, even though what they provide in world creates huge positive results.

What really stinks about spiritually gifted folk being poor, is that then their wisdom is not making it out in the world.  They have to waste time and energy worrying about money, while their profound gifts are kept in relative secret. Ugh.

I am a stand for helping wisdom keepers release those blocks to wealth, to business, to being paid well.   I want to release the lies that say that you can’t be trusted with money, or that somehow your spirituality will diminish if you have money.  And I want to banish the cultural LIE that  you’re not worth as much because you’re not a dentist or a lawyer or a surgeon.   Because it’s not about what you’re worth.

YOUR worth is priceless – that’s true for ALL of us (even the lawyers haha).  We are all of us humans “worthy” of abundance, of respect.

In business, though, opening to wealth as a spiritually gifted person is really about daring to acknowledge the value of the RESULTS that your spiritual transformative work delivers.  Because what you bring the world is often of even more value than a tooth polishing, for example.  😉

It’s time that we honor our spiritual gifts and results as much as we honor the normal service industry stuff. And that starts with YOU as a spiritually gifted person honoring what YOU bring.  Open to wealth.  I can help.
