Embracing Embodied Genius in Menopause:
Honoring Body Wisdom

Video Transcript

Okay. Embodied genius. That’s the kind of intuitive genius that comes from your body. Your body really talks to you through menopause is a time when your body really starts talking. You welcome to hormonal changes. It’s the heat, the sleep. Everything’s really talking to you. All right? And when you’re a wise woman, you can’t just lean back and expect your body to do whatever you want.

Well, you too. You treat it like crap. You can’t expect to just be the prettiest girl in the room all the time and get your way. Nope. There’s a lot of bad news about the embodied genius that happens during menopause. You know what I’m talking about. You got to make an effort, even if you never had to before.

You got to watch what you eat. You can’t drink the. But there’s good news, too. Every time you go through body changes, every time you get injured, or you have to change up what you’re doing with your body, you’re building wisdom. Every time your body takes you down, it forces you to listen to your body even closer. You’re building wisdom.

Yeah. Crap. Every time you get sick, some weird, mysterious thing is happening with your body. Guess what you do. You finally start to listen. And when we listen to our bodies, there is a form of intuitive intelligence that can only arise from the body. I call it embodied genius. You might call it body wisdom. You might call it your gut feeling.

Tell you what. When your gut quits being willing to process things like gluten and red wine, you can really get quite a gut feeling and you can learn to finally listen and collaborate with this vessel. Wow. This month, March, my programs. We work on the creature archetype, recognizing that we’re bodies. We have bodies, we’re creatures, we’re animals. We’re human animals.

No matter how spiritually gifted you are, no matter how intellectual you are, you can’t escape your body. Not until the day you stop breathing. So we honor that. And as we do, we reclaim the gifts of instinct through gut feeling and, yeah, embody genius. We recognize the times in our lives where pain or illness or some kind of big change forced a rebirth into our bodies.

Yup. That’s life. Initiating you again into birth, into being here, incarnated in this meat suit. So if you’re like me, middle age mama, whose body keeps changing, keeps calling for us to listen. I want to encourage you to join us. Join the Wisdom Collective. Come and play. Because here we acknowledge and consciously build all four types of intuitive genius.

And embodied genius is the first foundational one because we are not here to ignore the flesh anymore. Embodied genius is where it all begins. Without it, math, we’re just talking heads and spiritually by testing. You need embodied genius. So listen to your body today. And I’m saying this as if I’m speaking into a mirror because it’s a constant lesson how to listen to my body and give her what she needs and know the secrets of the creature of me.
